Amsterdam – Paris Trek

Teen Treks bicycling group in Amsterdam

If you’ve never been to Europe, this 16-day trip will give you an amazing introduction. If you’re an old hand at international travel, it’s a rich, exciting tour of great sites in three bike-friendly countries.

You’ll start in Amsterdam, a city with centuries of history and culture, plenty of quirk, and, believe it or not, the occasional bicycle traffic jam. You’ll visit the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, and the Anne Frank House here, then ride south along the coast past small seaside towns and huge windmills to reach the grand city of Den Haag. Next it’s on to Bruges, one of Belgium’s most beautiful cities, full of winding canals and medieval architecture.

Pedaling across the green Belgian countryside, you’ll come to the city of Ghent and navigate its narrow streets, where bicycles are right at home. Next, a train will take you to beautiful Paris, with its lively cafes, legendary museums, and spectacular cuisine. Finally, you’ll ride out to the Palace of Versailles, the opulent royal chateau that served as the center of French political power for more than a hundred years. This is a trip you won’t want to miss out on!
