ABOUT US

We are a not-for-profit organization leading self- supported bike trips for teenagers.

It all started with a bike trip from Niagara-Toronto during the American Youth Hostel (AYH) Movement nearly 25 years ago. Now, Teen Treks has evolved to lead 17 bike adventures across the U.S., Canada and Europe. We still foster the mission of AYH tours, enabling teens to experience multi-day bike touring while carrying their own gear, setting up camp, navigating their adventure and cooking at camp, all in a collaborative team environment. We think biking is the best way to travel, especially in our busy world. Bike travel allows teens to slow down, be present, and learn about the people, places and perspectives as they travel through diverse destinations across the world. For decades, we have watched as bike trips have molded and inspired many teens lives, helping them realize their potential, build lasting connections and gain evolved views for the world they live in. If you are looking for a different summer camp experience, we’re here for you.
