AA Trekkers Cross Continental Divide

The day started out wet and drizzling, leading to a slow, but sure start. A big milestone was achieved: crossing the continental divide, followed by a much needed downhill segment through rolling forests and mountains, that transitioned into vast, open plains and grasslands. With the rolling hills and heat, struggle was unavoidable, but after a refueling in a little town called Simms, we pushed through to Vaughn, which lay within a stones throw of Great Falls, a landmark for our group. After enjoying dinner in a bar-style burger restaurant, and partaking in a few games of pool, the group retired to an unkempt baseball diamond, where tents were pitched, and exhausted group members promptly fell asleep. -Charlie
