We woke up on tennis courts. We had a bagel breakfast and then ran errands to fix a bike rack. After lunch, we started our ride for the day, 75 miles into the Badlands. We made our way to scenic South Dakota, which has beautiful rock and hill, formations and not much else. We arrived at our campsite for the night just before sunset. It was a grassy and windy horse ranch where a family that lives there let us camp. We cooked up a macaroni and cheese dinner and enjoyed the view of the milky way joined by a meteor shower.
