Today is the start of a 10 day, 200+ mile Trek along the scenic coastline of Connecticut and Rhode Island. This morning Trekkers took a bus from NYC to Providence where several more Trekkers will join them. They are staying in the beautiful Omni Hotel for 2 nights so that they can explore this wonderful city. On Tuesday their cycling adventure begins as they head to Newport, RI and pass the famous mansions and beaches. Wednesday they ferry to Block Island for 2 nights, enabling them to explore lighthouses, beaches, and a wonderful small town. Then they ferry to Pt. Judith and cycle toward Mystic Seaport. The remaining days include beautiful state parks and wonderful beaches. Stay tuned to this blog for daily updates on their unforgettable adventures!
