The chaos started on Friday night at about 11pm when Owen started a boxing match in the boys tent. Boys fell asleep at about midnight and woke up at an uncomfortable hour of 4:30. Some trekkers took a quick walk to the camp store to buy morning coffees and bites. Some trekkers tried to take morning showers at this time, but were disappointed after the shower simply stole all of the quarters they saved up.
We then ate, packed up, and then Owen tried and failed for the 3rd time to pack up a tent. Tristan and Emmett locked in and we all got rolling about 10 minutes later. After about an hour and a half of riding, our boss (Dani) decided to stop in Westerly, Rhode Island.
After searching for a grocery, we wind up in Wilcox Park with chicken ceaser wrap ingredients bought from McQuadeas supermarket. We continue rolling and make about 6 wrong turns before getting back on track to about 3 miles of steep hills.
Somewhere in the middle, we turned to stop and rest in the parking lot of the Open Door Baptist Church. The man operating the lawn mower walks up to us and offers the coldest, crispest, bottles of water. Not even a minute later, he comes back with 3 children on their little bikes with more water, and ice. They gave us so much that we had to return some even after packing some on our bikes.
The next hour is the last stretch to Mystic, and after crossing into Connecticut we pass the aquarium, and arrive at our Hotel. We have grilled cheese for dinner and play some football before going to get ice cream down the street. After walking back to the hotel, we go back to our rooms, watch some TV, and go to bed.
