115 Miles in Southern Minnesota for the AA Trekkers

We started our day, bright and early aware of the upcoming heat. After taking our gear out of a log cabin, we were able to sleep in. We made our way to Worthington in foggy conditions with a record only one gas Station stop. At around mile 60 Ben suddenly switched helmets with no explanation and shortly thereafter Lucas’ father joined us on the bike ride by surprise. As a group, we went out for lunch and triple and double cheeseburgers were the norm. Fueled up and inspired we made the rest of the days miles in impressive time. We arrived to Blue Earth, where we saw a statue of the Jolly Green Giant that stood at least 50 feet tall and enjoyed Dairy Queen right nearby with the support of the Tilson family We even had time to go swimming after our century ride at the local pool. we ended the day with pizza and stories about thrilling bike adventures in Asia and North America.
