After waking up in an air-conditioned loft, and getting ready in the garage underneath, we said goodbye to Julian’s family around 7, and started biking through the brisk morning fog of Wisconsin. After making it to Richland center and stopping at a local thrift store, we made our way to a Culvers for lunch. After a much-needed siesta at the Culvers, we continued biking to Peter’s house. After a quick stop at a lake we were welcomed warmly by a few of Peters local friends and family. After a joyous reunion, the group tackled the Sisyphean task of consuming the food and drink that was very kindly prepared for us. After showering and recuperating, the group settled into Peter’s basement to prepare for a much-needed rest day in Madison the next day.
