It’s pretty cool when the first thing that comes to mind after each day is, “what a day!” We rode 30 miles today from St. Helen’s to Portland and continue to meet such incredible people. We had a leisurely lunch at the farmer’s market and got to meet up with a 2010 Across America trekker/alumni for dinner. The laughs continue and the way these teens bond is beautiful. Such incredible teens. We all feel so lucky to be here even when we wonder if the climb on Old Ranier road is actually Mount Rainer…
