What a day. 53 miles and 2200 feet of elevation. And while the hills can definitely talk, the people we have met have been wind in our sails. The encouragement, the generosity, the awe— to have such beautiful support is really beyond words. To be seen and know that people are with us and rooting for us—it’s just so special.
And in just 2 days the growth of these teens is remarkable. Today we reflected on what we learned about ourselves in the last 2 days and it was beautiful to hear people name things they enjoyed that surprised them. We also shared our challenges and while everyone’s is different, to talk openly about them is one of the many ways this group supports each other and everyone is always cheering each other on. We are all sleeping like rocks and ready to explore tomorrow !
