We started the day with perfect timing at 5:30. When we hit the road the sun was beginning to fully light the road. Rolling past beautiful lakes we stopped for ice cream after navigating bike trail closures.Michigan roads are rough but our packing and tires were good so we only lost one cucumber the whole day. Lunch was chicken wraps on a lake so beautiful it made those of us from MA homesick. After eating we stopped at a bike shop so Henry could ask if there was a floor pump to use. The remaining miles to the river and Canadian border flew by and we took a swim in the river after passing border control. We rolled through quiet farmland until our campsite, hitting another century, celebrating with a stir fry chicken dinner and another tub of oreo ice cream
