Across America Trekkers Enter Minnesota

We woke up early at our hotel to say goodbye to Luca, although we’ll see him again in New York City. After that, we went back to sleep for a little while before picking up our bikes from the shop.

Once we were back on the road, we resupplied just outside of town where someone riding their bike to work helped pay for our groceries, then treated ourselves to an amazing lunch. The ride to our campsite was quick and enjoyable. Along the way, we passed into Minnesota and took a photo where all our eyes were closed, found a geocache, climbed the stairs to a scenic lookout tower and cooled off with root beer floats while refilling our water bottles.

As we rolled into town, we passed the world’s largest nutcracker, stumbled upon an antique tractor festival, and ended the day with a homemade pork stir-fry dinner while enjoying live country music in the park.
