It was a restful morning waking up on a boat. We had a luxurious pancake breakfast and luckily the smoke alarm only went off three times. A boat ride and swim gave us the energy we needed to tackle the hilly terrain. We began with an ultra steep hill to look at the Cornell campus, followed by a forested gravel trail. Gas station pizza and sub lunch was surprisingly yummy
. We also napped in the parking lot. . We had a short climb out of the gas station and some gorgeous fast flowy terrain. We stopped at a river to swim but only Carson decided to get in. On our toughest climb of the day a woman handed us ice cold water to get us to the top. Arriving into the town of Windsor for dinner we discovered that henrys birthday dinner plans were foiled as the restaurant was out of business. We went shopping for dinner ingredients and enjoyed some birthday quesadillas. Our new friend Dustin let us ride his e-scooter and a kid on a pit bike was circling us. Happy 16th birthday Henry!!!
