California Coast Trekkers Tour San Francisco

Our first full day in San Francisco got off to a fun start. As we practiced bike safety (on foot) in the hallways of our downtown hostel we discovered the foosball room where glory is found. An exciting match unfolded between the lefties and righties, but the lefties were able to clutch a 5-4 win.
Our next activity was a trip to Coit Tower. With an incredible view we were able to plan out the rest of our travels that day visually. Before heading to Fisherman’s Wharf, we bring out the hacky sack and realize that we’re better bikers than we are hacky sackers.

Fisherman’s Wharf is great fun. It is the first ice cream stop of the day as well. We then head to the Golden Gate Bridge and make our way across it. After the ride north we head for Golden Gate Park, just south of the Presidio. They have great ice cream too. We enjoy the afternoon breeze before heading back to the hostel to make dinner and settle in for a big day on the road tomorrow–to Montara
