We kicked off the day in air conditioned bliss at the Francois residence, and enjoyed a classic pancake breakfast. We regretfully left the comfort of Sarah & Bryan’s home for a 13 mile ride into Madison, where we visited the capital, got lunch, toured the city, and met representatives of a bike tire company. Dinner was on the shore of Lake Mendota, with local pizza and sweet tea accompanied by live music and Maple, the Francois’ family dog.
