Ahoy Mateys,
Your local NYC to Montreal pirates started the morning boarding the ship sharply at 8 am. The ship was in fact a literal ship – the crew set sail on a ferry from one side of lake George to the other. After braving blustery winds and rain the crew arrived to the lands of Ticonderoga. There they began their voyage and happened upon another ship’s mates celebrating a 70th birthday. Next they ventured to the infamous Walmart in search of treasure and dinner supply. After their shopping spree, our 2 co-captains, Jane and Hadley, safely navigated the crew into the uncharted territory of Vermont. They were trailed by a parrot (Chase’s helmet accessory) which kept them all safe as sweep. A few of their side quests throughout the day included stopping for a brew (chocolate milk at a Vermont gas station) and exploring the abandon ruins of a British Fort (where they made a furry friend). After spotting land, they docked their ship at the Button Bay campground and enjoyed delicious slop (Shepards Pie) for dinner under a gorgeous Vermont sunset.
