This morning we started off with our warmest morning yet, which made getting out of the sleeping bag “supa” easy. We headed to Great Falls for Breakfast. We arrived 2 miles from the city center and parted ways for a grocery crew and an outdoor store crew at the Bike store. We had to get a smoker placed and wheels trued and the grocery crew got breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of snacks. After a long but successful time at the outdoor store, we got moving to the long-awaited UPS where we shipped a grand total of 30 pounds of gear sent home and for the better forgotten. We biked another 20 miles to Belt a small town off the freeway with a population of 500 where we waited out a thunderstorm and got novelties and ate dinner at the park. We met a group of teenage lifeguards who were working at a pool in the park who were we just about to close when we arrived. We went to go talk to them and they are very excited to open the pool back up to play volleyball and mess around in the pool. For dinner we had a large pot of mac & cheese with hotdogs which hit the spot. We continue to wait out the thunderstorm and decided to just camp in the park and cut our losses. We had a good time hanging out under the big Montana sky and having an early night.
