What a day. The gang was so lucky to have parents Alex and Deborah Tilson support us this morning and see us off. What remarkable human beings! As such, so are these trekkers. Hats off to Alexis, Carson, Charlie, Luca, Lucas, Henry, and Peter for their spunk and courage and grit today as we hit some long and winding climbs right out of the gate and did a whopping 45 miles. Lunch and dinner have never tasted so good. While there are many highlights of the view and the weather, the real deal is how considerate, supportive, and dynamic this crew is. They began helping each other from the start and though it’s only been 2 days, the bonds formed fast. You can always tell because of the laughs and we have had many. Excited for what awaits us tomorrow!
