A Blistery Day As NYM Trekkers Approach the Canadian Border

• Breaking news: 8 am in Burlington, Vermont 10 fearless bike trekkers prepare for a wet journey to Cumberland Bay, New York. Braving blustery winds and dark skies they continued onto Champlain Bikeway. Amidst the flat gravel path the group encountered their first challenge: a flat tire caused by a loose staple in one trekkers tire. Nevertheless, they forged on, meeting a furry friend on the way, until they reached the first of 2 ferries where they waited out lake effect rain. 5 miles later a snowstorm brought the team to a halt at Seb’s Ice cream for Cremees larger than our heads.
